Thoughts from the studio for launch day

Wow. What a journey.

During a pandemic, and in the same time I started a new role in my day job, I have been tinkering and working hard to get Homestead Soapery online!

And of course it wasn't without last week jitters! My lightbox lights failed half way through photography (thankfully, it was only a loose connection and the second light is not completely broken on a new light machine!). And other things, like my social media strategy (while planned, I didn't execute), and COVID-19 wave 2 in Australia meant a lot of things I wanted to do, or wanted to include, have just had to go to the way side.

Thank you cards and business cards are still in the works, and I printed my own product labels. Packaging is still not fully finalised, so the first batch will go out different to what we want the norm to be.

And that is ok. There will never be a 'perfect' time to do something like this when there is so much else going on. But now that the first batch is cured, and there is a steady stream of other products coming up for the next few months (including two signature soaps), we are ready to get online.

Hopefully, we've provided enough resourcing for you to make a selection in the absence of a touch, smell scenario. But please reach out if you want or need more.

For those in postcodes 4280, 4285 and 4270, delivery or pickup options are available at checkout, but if this isn't popping up for you please email us at homesteadsoapery@protonmail.com and we can sort something out.

I hope you enjoy Launch 1, and stick with us for future launches. We have Booch and Hive Juice coming up in the next couple of months, and more clay exfoliant soaps coming.

Thanks for sticking with us in these early months and happy soaping!
